A truck bomb has wounded at least fifty people and destroyed dozens of cars and a bridge leading to Stockholm's Old Town. Witnesses have reported incapacitated individuals around the city, up to 300 meters away from the bombsite. The cause is still unknown.
The population of Berlin has taken to bomb shelters as the global catastrophe worsens. Hopes of containing the disaster slowly fade as strong air currents carry radioactive material across Europe, into the Middle East and Asia.
